2. Open flames and smoking are prohibited in the operating room, and fire extinguishing equipment for oil fires should be available.
3. During work, check that the machinery, pulse power supply, control knobs, display instruments, and exhaust fans are all intact and reliable.
4. When loading and unloading workpieces, positioning, calibrating electrodes, or wiping the machine tool, the pulse power supply must be turned off.
5. The working liquid level should be maintained 50 to 60 millimeters above the surface of the workpiece to prevent fire due to low liquid levels.
6. It is prohibited to touch the electrodes with hands. Operators should stand on insulated rubber or wooden platforms.
7. Harmful gases released must be promptly eliminated, and measures should be taken or work stopped if the exhaust fan malfunctions.
